BINTULU, Feb 22: One lane along Jalan Tun Ahmad Zaidi, from Bomba Bintulu until the Bintulu courthouse, here will be closed from today until Oct 31 for new drainage and road construction works.
In an advisory notice issued yesterday (Feb 21), Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak disclosed that the lane closure is to facilitate the movement of heavy vehicles and machineries for the construction.
With minor road diversions in place, JKR Sarawak advised motorists to exercise caution when travelling along the stretch while construction is ongoing.
