SINGAPORE, April 18: The Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) here yesterday issued a warning about a fake ICA website that is phishing for visa reference and passport numbers, the Straits Times news portal reported yesterady.

The fake website, at www. mom-sg-gov.ml/save.ica.gov.sg/save-public/index.html, looks similar to ICA’s official website.

However, ICA’s official website at www.ica.gov.sg is on the secure “https” extension. There are also differences in logo size, font size and colours between the two websites.

ICA gave asurance that access to its official website remains unaffected and no data has been compromised.

It also advised the public to be alert so that they are not fooled by such fake websites. — DayakDaily
