MIRI, Sept 20: Sibuti Member of Parliament (MP) Lukanisaman Awang Sauni on Wednesday distributed a total of 1,105 examination kits to 42 primary schools in his constituency.
The handover was held at Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Bungai and SK Lambir Village respectively.
The kits included pencil boxes, notebooks, bags and stationery.
During the handover, Lukanisman also presented RM10,000 to the Headmaster Council for Lambir Zone and RM5,000 each to SK Bungai and SK Lambir Village.
Lukanisaman in his brief speech expressed hope that this year’s UPSR candidates will do their best in the upcoming examination.
“I hopes students within this parliamentary constituency (Sibuti) do their best in this exam and excel both academically and co-curriculum wise,” he said.
He also disclosed that the event (the handover of examination kits) will be an annual event in his constituency. — DayakDaily
