Siburan Bomba comes to aid of homeless man living under bridge who fell ill

KUCHING, Nov 17: A homeless man who fell ill while living under the Tapah Bridge on Jalan Kuching-Serian received help from the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) last night.

According to a report by TVS, operation commander Tommy Amie said that they received a call about the situation at 7.42pm and quickly sent a team from the Siburan Fire and Rescue Station (BBP) to the scene.

“Upon arrival at the scene, it was found that a homeless man was lying under the bridge, while another individual appeared to be in good health.

“The 31-year-old homeless man was experiencing fever, coughing, body weakness, stomach pain, and chest pain but remained conscious,” Tommy reported.

The man was promptly sent to Serian Hospital for treatment. — DayakDaily
