“In addition, Jalan Nibong Tada (including the booster station Nibong Tada JBALB pump), Kemuyang Park, Rascom Camp and Rh Nari to Sibu/Bintulu Traffic Light is also affected,” the board said.

The water supply interruption is scheduled to start at 10pm and is expected to last for 12 hours.

“The water supply disruption is due to the connection works of the 450mm MSCL Main Pipe in front of the Petronas Station, Jalan Tunku Abdul Rahman.

“Users are advised to store enough water for their needs throughout the period of the water supply interruption,” SWB said.

SWB will try to complete the work as soon as possible and water supply will gradually recover in the affected area.

“Any complications that arise are deeply regretted. If you have any questions, please contact the Talikhidmat Hotline Sibu Water Board at 013-8106311,” SWB advised. — DayakDaily
