SIBU, May 18: A man and a woman were arrested for alleged drug possession here yesterday.
Sibu District deputy police chief, Supt Collin Babat said today, based on an intelligence report received, a police team went to Jalan Wong Nai Siong at about 1pm yesterday to conduct a raid.
“The team saw a woman carrying two boxes to a car,” he said.

The woman together with a man who was sitting inside the car were immediately placed under arrest.
Both are 32-years-old.
“An inspection of the two boxes by the team found drugs worth RM151,236 inside them,” said Collin.
The case is being investigated under Section 39B of the Dangerous Drugs Act 1952. — DayakDaily
