SIBU, Mar 24: Patients of Sibu Hospital who wish to collect their medications from the Outpatient Pharmacy Department (OPD) are advised to make full use of its drive-through facility.

According to OPD chief Harry Chua Kheng Sin today, patients can also use the Medicine-by-post facility to receive their medications.

Chua said the hospital was encouraging patients to utilise these facilities in view of the 14-day movement control order enforced to flatten the infection curve of the Covid-19 pandemic.

“By using this facilities, it can also save time for both the hospital and the patients. For the patients, especially there is not much waiting as once they get their medication at drive-through, they can straight away head home,” he added.

For those who have yet to register for the two facilities, he encouraged them to do so by calling its OPD number at 084-343333 Ext 1177 during office hours from 8am to 5pm except during public holidays or weekends. —DayakDaily
