Sibu Flyover to be open in time for Gawai Dayak

KUCHING, May 11: The Sibu Flyover will be open to the public before Gawai Dayak celebration.

According to Public Works Department (JKR) Sarawak’s Pan Borneo Highway Branch (PBHB) in a Facebook post on May 10, the contractor involved has given assurance of their commitment to finish the project implemented along Pan Borneo Highway Sibu Section (WPC07) during JKR Sarawak deputy director (Infrastructure) Cassidy Morris’ site visit yesterday.

During the visit, Cassidy instructed the contractor to expedite the completion of the flyover.

He also reminded the contractor that the Traffic Management Plan (TMP) implemented must be in good condition and safe for road users. — DayakDaily
