Sia Sitok Sarawak, Sia Sitok Sarawak Accomodation booking period extended to Nov 15

The booking period for both Sia Sitok Sarawak 4.0 and Sia Sitok Sarawak Accommodation 3.0 campaigns are extended to Nov 15, 2022.

KUCHING, Oct 31: Sia Sitok Sarawak (SSS) 4.0 and the Sia Sitok Sarawak Accommodation (SSSA) 3.0’s booking period has been extended to Nov 15 this year.

Exclusively for Sarawakians and non-Sarawakians, both campaigns by Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) were launched on Sept 1 this year.

Initially, the booking period started from Sept 1 until Oct 31, while the travel and stay period started from Sept 1 until Dec 15.


According to STB, the campaigns with the theme ‘Discover Sarawak Gems’ will showcase 62 fascinating tour packages throughout Sarawak.

“From day trips to multi-day trips, SSS 4.0 offers great deals from 35 per cent to 50 per cent off, including eight additional new tour packages that emphasise community-based tourism and responsible tourism products aligned with Sarawak’s Post Covid-19 Development Strategy (PCDS) 2030.

“The newly added tour packages include trips to Kedaya Telang Usan to chase waterfalls and experience the local culture; enjoying a more in-depth Bidayuh village experience at Saloma Homestay; go bird-watching in Ba Kelalan to get the chance to spot the Dulit Frogmouth bird which is endemic to the mountains of northern Borneo; and have an unforgettable Belaga expedition and visit Uma Belor, potentially the longest uninterrupted longhouse structure in Sarawak which consists of seven connected blocks.

“Others include following Rajah Brooke’s trail and visiting Rentap’s Fort at Bukit Sadok; enjoying a rapid shooting experience with the Julau and Upriver Expedition; discovering Murum and visiting Limbang–Lawas Meritam Pasir Lumpur to pamper yourself with a natural mudbath,” it said in a statement today.

Meanwhile, SSSA 3.0 provides the best staycation packages with discounts of up to 35 per cent off from over 40 participating hotels.
