Shopowner loses RM35k in fishing paraphernalia, cash after break-in

The wall was forcefully cracked open by the suspects.

KUCHING, May 22: An outrageous break-in happened at a fishing accessories shop located at 7th Mile, Sentosa area on Wednesday.

The incident was discovered by the shop owner after he opened his shop on Wednesday morning to see a big hole in the wall.

According to the shopowner, the wall appeared to have been cracked open, allowing the suspects to enter the shop.

The suspects took all the valuable fishing accessories such as fishing rods, hooks and also cash from the cashier machine.

The owner has estimated his losses to be approximately RM35,000 from the break in.

A police report had been made by the owner’s wife and the are investigating the case.—DayakDaily
