KUCHING, Mar 18: Do you have a homestay experience in Sarawak that you are itching to share because of how awesome it is? Here’s your chance to turn that story into cash!
DayakDaily Writing Competition 3.0 returns, offering cash prizes totalling up to RM14k for participants who can write real, captivating stories under this year’s theme, “Homestay Tales.”
Following the success of last year’s competition celebrating Sarawak’s rich culinary heritage, DayakDaily is once again inviting aspiring writers and storytellers to share their experiences. This time, participants are encouraged to delve into the heart of Sarawak’s homestays — where culture, community, and hospitality come alive.
Get ready to share your memorable homestay experience in our exciting writing competition, exclusively open to Sarawakians.
The two categories are the Youth Category (ages 12 to 18) and the Adult Category (ages 19 and above).
Entries must be within 500 words and include up to two (2) original photos. The total file size for all three documents combined must not exceed 1GB.

Entries will be accepted from March 18, 2025 until May 31, 2025. The submission deadline is 11.59pm on May 31, 2025 (Saturday). Late entries will not be accepted nor entertained.
