KUCHING, Apr 1: The Sarawak Federation of Chinese Associations (SFCA) handed over RM25,000 worth of personal protective equipment (PPE) to the Sarawak General Hospital (SGH) today.

SFCA president Datuk Richard Wee said the PPE consisted of 600 surgical overalls, hats, shoe covers and gloves.

“We are continuing our efforts to support SGH in their needs and requirements. Filling in the gaps for their PPE. This includes meals for the front line medical personnel,” Wee told DayakDaily today.

He added that SFCA will continue to seek public donations to support the healthcare front liners at SGH.

SFCA is among the first non-governmental organisations to assist SGH during the Movement Control Order (MCO) due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Besides such initiative, SFCA also made a video clip to cheer and support the frontline medical personnel. —DayakDaily
