SFC team heading to Lingga to investigate alleged giant python capture

KUCHING, Dec 7: Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) has despatched a team to Lingga to investigate the alleged capture of a giant python by a group of men.

A video of the alleged capture has gone viral on social media. It is thought the snake could be at least 40 feet long and weighing at least one tonne.


“We are sending our team there,” the spokesman told DayakDaily here today.

Pythons are a totally protected species in the country.
