SFC, MUDeNR plant 200 seedlings at Samunsam Wildlife Sanctuary

KUCHING, Dec 10: Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) and Ministry of Natural Resource and Urban Development (MUDeNR) have planted 200 seedlings at Samunsam Wildlife Sanctuary as part of its Rewilding Programme.

According to SFC in a Facebook post today, a total of 40 personnel from MUDeNR Kelab Kebajikan Sumber dan Rekreasi took part in the programme led by MUDeNR Forest Division chief Tessy Nimos.

Together with SFC’s rangers, they planted five species of seedlings namely Resak, Meranti, Rhu Ronang, Selangan Batu and Ficus.
