KUCHING, Aug 3: The Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) enforcement team has arrested two men for selling 1,997 sea turtle eggs at Mile 3 in Kuching.

In a statement today, SFC said the arrest was conducted during Op Bersatu Khazanah in collaboration with personnel from Sarawak Marine Police on August 2.

According to the statement, the two individuals are suspected of committing an offense under the Wild Life Protection Ordinance 1998.

Both suspects have been taken to the police station for further action. — DayakDaily
