MALUDAM, May 21: The Kampung Triso Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) has taken action to close several lanes leading to the village in an effort to restrict the movement of people, considering that the Covid-19 pandemic situation has yet to subside in Sarawak.
According to a news report by Sarawak Public Communications Unit (UKAS) today, a few lanes that lead to Jalan Lorong Kampung Triso have been closed starting yesterday (May 20).
The initiative was taken to control the movement of people and prevent outsiders from entering the village.
The village can only be assessed through the lane at the main road for now.
Observing the increase in Covid-19 positive cases in Sarawak, Kampung Triso JKKK emphasised that control measures must be taken to protect the health and wellbeing of the local community there. — DayakDaily
