KUCHING, Sept 12: Serian, Lundu, Lubok Antu, and Tebedu have recorded Air Pollution Index (API) readings above 200, placing them in the ‘very unhealthy’ category as of 10am today.
According to the Natural Resources and Environment Board Sarawak (NREB), Serian recorded the highest API reading at 252, with Lundu and Lubok Antu recording 217 each and Tebedu recording 214.
Several areas in the State recorded unhealthy readings, with Sri Aman at 198, followed by Samarahan (193), Kuching and Betong (189), Kanowit (175), Bintulu (152), Sarikei (151), Samalaju (125), Mukah (111), and Sibu (108).
Meanwhile, Lawas recorded a moderate API reading at 98, along with Miri (95), ILP Miri (82), Limbang (81), Kapit (78), and Bario (61). — DayakDaily
