SIBURAN, Aug 4: Serian Health Clinic (Type 3) is 76 per cent completed and is expected to be fully completely by the end of this year and be operational in March 2024.
Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) reported that Deputy Health Minister Lukanisman Awang Sauni said once Serian Health Clinic is completed, it will also house the Serian Mother and Child Clinic for the convenience of local residents.
Lukanisman was quoted saying this at a press conference after a working visit to the project site of Siburan Health Clinic (Type 3), which was scheduled to be completed by October this year but was delayed due to Covid-19 pandemic.
Construction works have since resumed and according to him, the clinic is presently 95.89 per cent completed and is expected to be operational in 2024.
“When this clinic is ready, the community in Siburan will have access to immediate treatment and healthcare in stead of having to go to other health facilities.”
