KUCHING, May 20: The Village Development and Security Committee (JKKK) in Seduku Baru Agropolitan village in Lingga has put up signboards barring outsiders from entering the village to prevent the spread of Covid-19.

According to Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the initiative was taken by the village JKKK after the number of Covid-19 cases reported in the state did not shown any signs of decline.

“It is part of the precautionary measures undertaken by the JKKK to prevent the spread of Covid-19 virus in the village as the Seduku Baru Agropolitan village has yet to record any positive cases,” it said.
