“Among the speakers at the second Borneo States Symposium are Datuk Seri Panglima Dr Jeffrey Kitigan, Datuk Amar Michael Manyin Jawong, Professor Dr Mohd Tajuddin Mohd Rasdi, Datuk Dr Johan Arriffin Samad and prominent leaders from Sarawak and Sabah.

“This includes experts in their respective fields, and panelists as well as invited participants who will be taking part in the robust discussions on the future of Borneo states,” it said.

Among others, the symposium serves as a platform for participants to voice out their aspirations and concerns for the future. More than 60 years have passed, with both States lagging behind in national and international progress in many aspects such as political maturity and intellectuality, education, economics, science and technology and others.

Participants will also be able to discuss and share their thoughts on many subject matters such as the Territorial Sea Act, Education Act, Petroleum Development Act (PDA) and other issues that affect the people of the Borneo States.

Those interested to attend the event are advised to book their slots early due to limited seats, by contacting TSI via WhatsApp at 019-8767928 or email thesarawakinitiatives@gmail.com. — DayakDaily1
