KUCHING, Nov 28: A 23-year-old man reported missing in Sri Aman since Nov 21 found dead.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operation centre, the deceased’s body was found by a search team at 10.25am, downstream of Sungai Dor, which is about 1.6km from the victim’s house.
The body was later brought to the main road of Jalan Sri Aman-Kuching to be handed over to the police and transported to Sri Aman Hospital for further action.
On Nov 21, a search and rescue (SAR) operation was launch after the victim, Jakson Bar Runi, from Rh Sekot Sebangkoi Undop in Sri Aman was reported missing.
The victim was reported to have gone out from his residence that very day without informing family members where he was going. — DayakDaily
