KUCHING, April 15: SDMC has lodged a police report against individuals claiming to be “enterSarawak” agents.

Sarawak Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) chairman Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas asserted that the committee has not appointed any agent to help applicants fill the “enterSarawak” form.

“We already announced that SDMC has not appointed any agent to help anyone to fill the form to enter Sarawak.

“We have already lodged a report and the police are already investigating it. We believe the police will soon come out with a report after an investigation,” said Uggah who is Deputy Chief Minister at a press conference here today.

He appealed to all Sarawakians, reminding them that if they encounter any issues, to contact the SDMC secretariat which he promised will help to settle the issues.

“Please be careful. There are always people who try to take advantage of any issue or any problem. So make sure you do not fall into their trap,” cautioned Uggah.

As a way to control the spread of Covid-19 through travel restrictions, those seeking to leave or enter Sarawak during the current Conditional Movement Control Order must seek permission from SDMC by filing an applications via enterSarawak website. — DayakDaily
