KUCHING, May 13: A school van caught fire in an incident that occurred at SK Temenggong Datuk Muip, Jalan Rejang Taman Tunku, in Miri early this morning.
In a Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) report, an emergency call was received at 6.43am, and firefighters from the Miri Central station were deployed.

Upon arrival, it was noted that the van was on fire, sustaining about 70 per cent of damage.
After extinguishing the fire, Bomba personnel ensured that there were no signs of the fire reigniting before returning to the station.
Thankfully, no victims were recorded during the incident, which is still under investigation.
The operation ended at 7.26am. — DayakDaily
