KUCHING, May 3: A scheduled one-lane closure in front of Paragon Concrete Sdn Bhd in Batu Kawah along both directions on Jalan Kuching-Bau will take place from May 6 to Aug 15 for road upgrading works involving the laying of DCR and premix.
In an advisory notice issued today, the Department of Irrigation and Drainage (DID) Sarawak stated that the road in front of Paragon Concrete, from the Kuching to Bau direction, will be affected by the closure from May 6 to Aug 15.
Meanwhile, the road in front of Paragon Concrete from the Bau-Kuching direction will be affected from May 15 to Aug 15.
Closure hours are scheduled from 9.30am to 11.30am, 2pm to 4.30pm, and 8pm to 4am.
Motorists are urged to exercise extra caution when approaching and driving through the construction zone and to adhere to all traffic management measures for their safety.
DID Sarawak will provide regular updates on any changes to the construction schedule, including the date, time, and areas involved.
Apologies are extended for any inconvenience caused, and motorists are encouraged to plan their journeys accordingly to the areas affected.
