KUCHING, Jan 20: Eden Damai Wellness, Sarawak’s latest jewel in the wellness crown, officially inaugurated at Damai Lagoon Resort today.
Officiated by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, the wellness centre offers a two-day Wellness Carnival Weekend, including a health awareness talk on the second day (Sunday).
Speaking during the inauguration ceremony, Sarawak Economic Development Corporation (SEDC) chairman Tan Sri Datuk Amar Abdul Aziz Husain said they are actively working together with Sarawak Tourism Board (STB) to participate in promoting health tourism in cities such as Jakarta, Kalimantan, Balikpapan, Samarinda, and Banjarmasin.
He also said that Eden Damai Wellness offers services such as traditional massages and detox programmes, including anti-ageing treatments and a spa facility.
He added that the centre also introduced groundbreaking technologies like Oxygen Therapy with Personalised Oxygenation Delivery System (PODS) and ELO Oxygen Rich Drinking Water.
The two-day Wellness Mini Carnival extravaganza is open to the public from 10am until 6pm to raise awareness of a wellness lifestyle.
Visitors can also explore booths showcasing local community businesses and immerse themselves in the vibrant atmosphere.
For the Health Awareness Talk, which will be held at the Puteri Ballroom of Damai Lagoon Resort where, speakers will unravel the wonders of oxygen in wellness, specifically on how oxygen therapy aids in the reversal of hypoxia.
They will share insights into the benefits of oxygen therapy, anti-ageing treatments, and revolutionary technologies like the PODS. — DayakDaily
