KUCHING, Feb 24: Sarawak’s Land and Survey Department (JTS) won four gold awards at the Malaysia Technology Expo (MTE) 2024.
The awards are for JTS’ two innovation projects, namely ‘Monitoring System for Survey of Land Acquisition’ (MOSSLA) and ‘Flextervation’, which were each awarded this highest achievement in the ‘International Innovation Awards’ category (IIA) and ‘Public Service Innovation Asia’ (PSIA).
Developed by Lands Tahai Q’s Innovative and Creative Group (KIK) from JTS Limbang, MOSSLA also received the ‘Malaysia Technical University Network’ (MTUN) and Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Special Awards and the International Alliance of Innovation & Invention Association Special Award.
At the same time, the ‘Flextervation’ project was awarded the Japanese Intellectual Property Association (JIPA) Special Award. — DayakDaily
