MUKAH, Sept 11: The Sarawakku Sayang (SKS) 2026 programme for the Mukah Division is scheduled to take place from October 2 to 4, following its postponement due to the haze.
In a Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) report, Mukah Divisional Resident Bujang Rahman Seli said preparations for the programme are now in full swing, involving 18 agencies, with each agency presenting its respective work plans and preparations to ensure the programme runs smoothly.
However, he said the implementation of outdoor activities would be subject to weather conditions, with any changes to be announced should conditions become unsuitable.
“If weather conditions do not permit, there may be some changes to the activities that have been planned,” he said when chairing the coordination meeting of the Sarawakku Sayang 2026 Divisional Working Committee for Mukah Division at the Sarawak Government Administrative Centre here today.
In this regard, he hoped that all matters related to the organisation of SKS 2026 would proceed smoothly, allowing the programme to be carried out successfully.
Previously, the SKS 2026 programme for Mukah Division was scheduled to take place from August 28 to 30 but was postponed due to haze conditions in the area. — DayakDaily
