KUCHING, Jan 15: Sarawakian teen Nur Qamarina Syafira was crowned a grand winner of I Am Model Search International 2024, held in Kuala Lumpur last Saturday (Jan 13).
The 14-year-old representing Malaysia shared the grand winner place with two others, namely Mongolia’s Yeerul Tbileg Engkhbayar and the Philippines’ Russel Jan Comia.
The video of the event was broadcast live on I Am Model Search International’s Facebook page on the same night.
Previously, Nur Qamarina won the I Am Model Search Malaysia 2023 competition, qualifying her to represent Malaysia internationally.
According to a report by TVS, 68 participants from 17 countries competed in the event, which aimed to find new talents in the modelling industry.
Among the countries participating in the second edition of the competition are Australia, the United States, Botswana, the Philippines, Indonesia, India, Japan, Cambodia, South Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Myanmar, Singapore, Sri Lanka and Thailand. — DayakDaily
