HONG KONG, Jan 21: Sarawak’s para bowling quartet made the nation proud by winning the silver medal in the men’s team TPB4 (intellectual impairment) category at the 2025 International Bowling Federation (IBF) Para Bowling World Championships here yesterday (Jan 20).
According to the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (UKAS), the team, comprising Muhd Zul Adly Majeni, Abang Yahya Abang Azhar, Mohd Hazim Sazali, and Mahamad Rizuan Madzhi produced 3,035 pinfalls during the event held at the Kai Tak Sports Park Bowling Centre.
Australia won the gold medal with 3,152 pinfalls while Singapore secured the bronze with 2,972 pinfalls.
Team Malaysia will continue their campaign until the final day of the championship on Friday (Jan 24) in several other categories that will be contested. — DayakDaily
