KUCHING, July 29: Sarawak Taekwondo Association (WTF) Azizul Annuar Adenan looks forward to more qualified poomsae and kyorugi referees at the State, national, and international levels in the near future.

In a statement today, Sarawak WTF said Azizul expressed his view on the matter when attending a four-day Poomsae and Kyorugi Referee Refresher Seminar and Qualification Course 2022 yesterday (July 28).

During the visit, Azizul, accompanied by State Technical Chairman Grandmaster Tan Check Joon, also had discussions with about 40 national and State referees and clubs that recommended black belt trainees from various State-affiliated clubs throughout Sarawak.

The event was hosted by Sarawak WTF and conducted by Grandmaster Johnny Loke She Hee, chairman of the Referee Board for Taekwondo Malaysia.

After the course, participating State referees and black belt trainees, who will sit for the qualification test on July 31, 2022, will be upgraded to State Referee (SR) and National Referee (NR), respectively, after passing. — DayakDaily
