Dr Sim noted, the state government will also seek advice from Sarawak medical experts led by Datuk Prof Dr Andrew Kiyu and former Sarawak Health Director Datuk Dr Jamilah Hashim to look for other types of Covid-19 vaccine available.

According to him, this is due to a different variant of Covid-19 viruses which was detected in the state recently.

He added that the Sarawak medical expert will advise the state government properly on this matter without being politically influenced. — DayakDaily
