KUCHING, April 29: Sarawak Road Safety Council is now under the purview of the Ministry of Transport (MOT) Sarawak.
Formerly, the Council was under the purview of the Ministry of Port and Infrastructure Development (MIPD).
Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas, who is also MIPD minister, today handed over the Council to MOT minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin after a meeting held at his office in Kuching, today.
Present to witness the handing over were Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Dr Jerip Susil, Deputy MIPD minister Aidel Lariwoo, MIPD permanent secretary Datu Safri Zainudin and MOT permanent secretary Datu Buckland Bangik. — DayakDaily
