Sarawak reports another day of zero Covid-19 cases

KUCHING, Nov 29: Zero Covid-19 cases have been reported in Sarawak today.

State Disaster Management Committee (SDMC) said the cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in the state remained at 1,062 cases.


With zero new cases detected today, the six clusters that remain active are the Besi Cluster (12 cases), Abell Cluster (15 cases), Baki Cluster (33 cases), Seladah Cluster (nine cases), Greenhill Cluster (91 cases) and Wisma Saberkas Cluster (44 cases).

There have been no new recoveries as well and 23 patients are still receiving treatment and being isolated in hospitals.

“Today, there are nine new person-under-investigation (PUI) cases and zero cases awaiting laboratory test results,” it added in the Covid-19 statement today.

It also said that there were 240 person-under-surveillance (PUS) who were registered into various hotels across Sarawak to be quarantined.

There is now a total of 3,671 individuals under quarantine in 38 hotels throughout Sarawak while 34,702 PUS have completed their 14-day quarantine.—DayakDaily
