KUCHING, Feb 1: Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg has chaired the State Development Coordination Committee Meeting today at the Kapit Division State Government Complex in Kapit.
According to a news report published by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, the meeting’s agenda included a discussion of the performance of project implementation, particularly in the Kapit Division.
The briefing was delivered by the Upper Rajang Development Agency (Urda), the Ministry of Infrastructure and Port Development, and the Ministry of Public Health, Housing, and Local Government.
Abang Johari is also scheduled to visit the Urda Office Building Construction Project.
He also handed over certificates of appointment of new community leaders in the Kapit Division.
Also present were Minister of Public Works and Kapit MP Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi, Deputy Premier of Sarawak Datuk Amar Douglas Uggah Embas and Dato Sri Dr Sim Kui Hian, Minister of Food Industry, Commodity And Regional Development Sarawak (M-Ficord) Dato Sri Dr Stephen Rundi Utom, Minister for Women, Childhood, and Community Wellbeing Development (KPWK) Sarawak Datuk Seri Fatimah Abdullah, Minister in the Sarawak Premier’s Department Datuk John Sikie Tayai, Minister of Utility and Telecommunication Datuk Julaihi Narawi, and Sarawak State Secretary Datuk Amar Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki. — DayakDaily
