Sarawak Premier breaks fast at Miri’s Falak Centre

MIRI, April 22: Premier of Sarawak Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg attended a breaking of fast ceremony at Falak Centre here today.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), after breaking fast, Abang Johari together with all the guests also performed the Maghrib prayers at the centre, led by the Islamic Affairs Officer of the Sarawak State Mufti Department, Ustaz Razali Husaini.

Among those joining the ceremony are Transport Minister Dato Sri Lee Kim Shin, Deputy Minister Datuk Dr Abdul Rahman Junaidi, Deputy Minister of Youth, Sport and Entrepreneur Development II Dr Ripin Lamat, Deputy Minister of Women and Childhood Development Datuk Rosey Yunus, Deputy Minister of Community Wellbeing Development Mohamad Razi Sitam, Deputy Minister for Education and Innovation Dr Annuar Rapa’ee, Sibuti MP Lukanisman Awang Sauni and Deputy State Secretary Dato Sri Mohamad Abu Bakar Marzuki.

Also present were Sarawak Islamic Council president Datu Misnu Taha, Miri Resident officer Abdul Aziz Mohamad Yusuf and other distinguished guests.— DayakDaily
