On the second day (Dec 17), the Premier will meet with Boeing Japan to discuss Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) and related development and research.
The delegation will then hold meetings with HighChem Co. Ltd, Integrated Design & Engineering Holdings Co. Ltd. (ID&E), Mitsubishi Corporation, and Mitsui OSK Line.

On the fourth day (Dec 19), the Premier and delegation will tour the Mitsubishi Power Takasago Plant—a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to validating hydrogen technologies for global decarbonisation efforts.
It is the world’s first facility covering the entire hydrogen value chain: production, storage, and utilisation.
The hydrogen park also houses advanced systems, including large-scale electrolyzers and next-generation technologies such as solid oxide electrolysis and turquoise hydrogen production, which generate hydrogen without CO₂ emissions.
These innovations are tested with hydrogen-powered turbines, advancing the commercial competitiveness of hydrogen as a sustainable energy source.
The Sarawak Premier is expected to conclude the official working visit on Dec 20 before returning home. – DayakDaily
