KUCHING, March 21: Sarawak Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR) distributed food aid to quarantine centres in Kuching in answer to a request for help from the Ministry of Health (MOH).
According to the state PKR Women secretary Cherishe Ng, two weeks ago, they received the call for help from MOH for four quarantine centres in Kuching.
“Today we handed over some food aid and mineral water sufficient for 93 people, including staff and personnel to the quarantine centre at Inland Revenue Board (LHDN) Academy Kuching,” said Ng in a Facebook post today.
Ng noted, to-date, Sarawak PKR has sent aid to LHDN Academy Kuching and the Aminudin Baki Institute.
She said in the coming days, Sarawak PKR will also be sending aid to two more quarantine centres namely Politeknik Kuching and the Health Ministry Training Institute (ILKKM).
“Three other PKR branches which are making the handover to the different centres were also given some rations to be delivered. Please let me know or DM me if you know of any centres which require more help as well,” she added in her post. — DayakDaily
