KUCHING, March 21: A Sarawak Public Accounts Committee (PAC) audit has found weakness in management and implementation involving State government projects.

Without disclosing the weakness found, Sarawak PAC chairman Razaili Gapor emphasised that there is a need for some agencies to conduct reviews either from an administrative, financial or operational procedure point of view.

ā€œThe committee also decided to physically visit a particular project to find out more about the problems and weaknesses in relation to the project and at the same time monitoring the steps that have been implemented to overcome those problems,ā€ he said in a statement today.

He added that the committee decided to examine all the issues raised following the presentation of the Auditor General’s Report for the Year 2021 (Series 2) in the last Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUN) Sitting in November 2023. ā€“ DayakDaily
