KUCHING, July 30: The temporary road closure at Rembus Roundabout in Kota Samarahan will be extended for another month from Aug 1 to 31, 2025, to facilitate culvert laying works, Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd (Sarawak Metro) announced.
The closure will be in effect 24 hours daily throughout the period.
In a notice posted on its Facebook page yesterday (July 29), the agency advised road users to be cautious when driving in the affected area and to adhere to all traffic management measures, road warning signs, and speed limits to ensure the safety of both motorists and construction workers.
“Sarawak Metro Sdn Bhd will duly notify the public of any changes with regard to this notification. Road users are advised to plan their journey accordingly,” it added.
