KUCHING, Oct 21: The Third Meeting of the Fourth Session of the 19th Sarawak Legislative Assembly (DUS) will convene from Nov 24 to Dec 3.
According to an official notice issued by DUS secretary Nur Azhar Bujang today, the sitting will take place at the DUS Complex in Petra Jaya for 10 days, beginning at 9am on each day.
In accordance with the DUS Meeting Rules, assembly members can submit up to 10 questions for oral reply during the session.
The deadline for submission of questions is on or before Nov 10 (Monday), during office hours.
Key highlights of the upcoming sitting are expected to include the tabling of the Sarawak Budget 2026 and the Sarawak State Ownership Policy.
While usually held twice annually, this year saw a special one-day sitting on July 7 for the tabling of the Dewan Undangan Negeri (Composition of Membership) Bill, 2025, proposing an increase in the number of elected members in the House. — DayakDaily
