KUCHING, April 11: Sarawak Hearing and Aural Rehabilitation Society (Sarawak Hear) will hold a “Hearing and Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) Screening 2018” event from 10am to 7pm at Vivacity Megamail this coming Sunday.
The event which is held in conjunction with World Hearing Day Sarawak is co-organised by Sarawak Hear, Persatuan Pakar Telinga, Hidung & Tekak Sarawak and the Audiology Unit of Sarawak General Hospital.
The main sponsors for the event are HearLIFE Hearing Care Centre, Borneo Medical Centre and Vivacity Megamall.
Local Government and Housing Minister Datuk Prof Dr Sim Kui Hian will officiate at the event at 12 noon.
A health talk titled “Hearing Loss? Keep calm, your audiologist is here” will be given by Alexander Stephen and Jong Hui Ting at 1pm as part of the one-day programme.
At 4pm, Sarawak Hear chairman Dr Tang Ing Ping will give a talk titled, “I cant hear, what should I do?”
The last talk called “My child can’t talk, who can help?” will be given by Chan Chiew Eim at 6pm. — DayakDaily
