KUCHING, Feb 11: Sarawak Governor Tun Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar and wife Toh Puan Fauziah Mohd Sanusi celebrate the second day of Chinese New Year (CNY) by visiting the residence of Deputy Premier Datuk Amar Dr Sim Kui Hian here today.
According to a press release, they arrived at the house at 1.30pm and their arrival were welcomed by Dr Sim and wife Datin Amar Enn Ong as well as their family members.
It was also reported that Wan Junaidi and Fauziah had visited the residence of businessman Datuk Sri Tay Chin Kin.
There, the duo presented ‘angpows’ and gifts to 48 orphans from Kompleks Kebajikan Laila Taib (PERYATIM).
Accompanying Wan Junaidi and Fauziah during the visit were Federal Minister of Works Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi and wife Datin Sri Angelina Celestine Ujang; as well as State Deputy Minister of International Trade and Investment Datuk Dr Malcolm Mussen Lamoh and wife Datin Dorothy Sylvester Pungga. — DayakDaily
