KUCHING, Sept 24: Sarawak Governor Tun Pehin Sri Dr Wan Junaidi Tuanku Jaafar received a courtesy call from Sarawak Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg at Astana Sarawak today.
The meeting, which began at 10am and lasted nearly an hour, was held in conjunction with the pre-State Cabinet Meeting (MMKN).
During the meeting, Wan Junaidi and Abang Johari exchanged views on several matters concerning Sarawak, including the well-being of its people and the State’s continued development.
Wan Junaidi also expressed confidence that Sarawak would continue to make progress under Abang Johari’s leadership, particularly through strategic initiatives aimed at strengthening the state’s economy and improving the well-being of its people.
He said such initiatives would also support sustainable and inclusive development across Sarawak.
The meeting provided an opportunity for both leaders to exchange views on matters of importance to the state and its people. — DayakDaily
