Sarawak Federal Secretary satisfied with Covid-19 One Stop Centre at MBKS Community Hall

KUCHING, May 21: Covid-19 One Stop Centre operations can still be further improved with the cooperation from all government agencies, said Sarawak Federal Secretary Dato Amir Omar.

According to Kuching South City Council (MBKS) in a press statement today, Amir, during his recent visit to the Centre at MBKS Community Hall, Jalan Padungan here, also expressed his satisfaction with the team’s efficiency in dealing with the public and managing the Centre.

“It is not an easy task to ensure all the services in this One Stop Centre runs smoothly, but with the support from all the government agencies it can be done well,” he said.


On the same note, Amir also expressed his gratitude to the frontliners stationed at the Centre and thanked them for their hard work and endless fighting spirit to ensure that the people were well taken care of during this Covid-19 pandemic.

Earlier, he was welcomed upon arrival at the Centre by MBKS Mayor himself, Dato Wee Hong Seng, together with commander in chief for Covid-19 One Stop Center Dr Cheong Yaw Liang.

Following that, Amir was briefed by Dr Cheong regarding the One Stop Centre operations before being brought to walk around the Centre. — DayakDaily
