Sarawak Covid-19 caseload maintains at 14, Sibu and Bintulu take up 3 each

KUCHING, Jan 23: The number of new Covid-19 cases in Sarawak maintains at 14 cases today, with Sibu and Bintulu taking up three cases each.

According to the Sarawak Disaster Management Committee’s (SDMC) statement, Miri, Kuching, and Betong registered two cases each.

Samarahan and Limbang, on the other hand, accounted for one case each.

In terms of clinical categories, there were four in Category 1, nine in Category 2, and one in Category 3.

The cumulative number of Covid-19 cases in Sarawak is now 252,702.

No new deaths due to Covid-19 or clusters have been reported as of this day.

Meanwhile, 21 compounds were issued to 12 individuals who failed to register manually or through MySejahtera before entering premises and nine who did not practice social distancing. — DayakDaily
