KUCHING, Aug 23: The Sarawak archery team clinched their second gold medal in the men’s recurve event today at Sukma 2024.
According to a report by the Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas), the team — comprising Ann Zhe Thing, Liew Tu Jie, and Melvin Tieh Xuan Ruey — defeated Pahang’s A’zat Faris Fathullah Azrul, Muhammad Amirul Haziq Mohd Rashiddin, and Muhammad Haiqal Danish Syamsul Affandi with a score of 5-1.

The Johor team secured third place after defeating the Federal Territory team.
So far, Sarawak’s archery team has contributed two gold and two bronze medals at the 21st Malaysia Games (Sukma) Sarawak 2024. — DayakDaily
