“A special task force has been set up by IPD Saratok to locate the OBB, identified as Mohamad Hamizul Mohd Kiprawi, 30, who has been missing from the supervision of the Kuching District Parole and Community Service Office since Sunday,” he said in a statement today.

Mohamad Hamizul, whose registered address is No. 3/451, Jalan Haji Puteh Ellias, Saratok, was previously detained at Sri Aman Central Prison and is currently under a Licensed Prisoner Release Order (PBSL) from May 26 to July 15, 2025.

He is believed to have violated the conditions of the PBSL under Section 43(1) of the Prisons Act 1995 (Act 537) by failing to remain at the designated residence.

Matthew called on members of the public to assist by contacting the Saratok Police Station should they have any information related to the case.

The public can reach out to Saratok Police Station Chief SM Nara Medan at 019-8579113 with any relevant information.

“Public cooperation and positive commitment from individuals are crucial in this case,” he added. — DayakDaily
