KUCHING, Nov 21: A search and rescue (SAR) operation was launched for a missing 23-year-old man from Rh Sekot Sebangkoi Undop, Sri Aman.
According to a report from Sarawak Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba) operations centre today, the man, Jakson Bar Runi, was reported to have gone out from his residence without informing family members where he was going.
It was understood that he was wearing a white t-shirt, and also suffers from epilepsy.
After receiving a call regarding the incident at 7am today, firefighters from Bomba Sri Aman were deployed to the location.
The search operation on the first day is still ongoing and is being conducted within a three-kilometer radius from where the man is believed to have gone missing. — DayakDaily
