KUCHING, June 12: Sama Jaya Nature Reserve (SJNR) will be temporarily closed from 7am to 2pm tomorrow (June 13).
Sarawak Forestry Corporation (SFC) in a Facebook post today informed that the closure was to make way for an official event between the corporation and Sarawak Energy Berhad.
Earlier today, SJNR also welcomed a visit from Sarawak Energy’s delegation during a tree-planting session.
“The 70-person team from Sarawak Energy was headed by its senior vice president (Corporate Services) Siti Aisah Adenan and senior vice president (Health, Safety, Security and Environment) Marconi Madai.
“A total of 250 trees were planted at various locations in SJNR and everyone had a great time mingling with nature,” said SFC. — DayakDaily
