KUCHING, March 27: Sarawak, under the Gabungan Parti Sarawak’s (GPS) government led by Premier Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Johari Tun Openg, is among the states with the highest number of projects in Malaysia.

According to a news report from Sarawak Public Communication Unit (Ukas) today, Deputy Minister of Infrastructure and Ports Development (Infrastructure Development) Aidel Lariwoo said the amount is either in terms of the number of projects or in the number of allocations or their value, including for areas in Sadong Jaya, Simunjan, and Gedong.

Aidel said this in his speech during the Parti Pesaka Bumiputera Bersatu (PBB) Simunjan branch triennial delegates meeting held at a local hotel on Friday (March 26).

The Sadong Jaya assemblyman also said Simunjan constituency now covers two Batang Sadong bank areas which are from Temiang to Selangking and another from Sebuyai Ensengei to Rangkang.

He added that the current transformation in Simunjan district is the idea of Simunjan assemblyman Awla Dris and all PBB branch leaders, including community leaders and village chiefs (KMKK) in the Simunjan area. ― DayakDaily
